Ok for all you space art wannabies, I have created this very effective yet easy to follow tutorial. Please if you do download this, fav it in order to spread it around. This took me around 6 hours to make so you owe me at least that :).

This tutorial should take around 1:30 mins to complete and out of it you will receive experience and a very effective planet.

Good Luck

Oh and any suggestions for my next tutorial???

To Download this just click download to desktop and it should start to download.

Wow, that was great, do you think you can put up a tutorial for the clouds? That would be awesome
i could sure try but i would really require a few more people who would want to do it to make it worth while. Did you find the tutorial easy to follow?

Yea it was really easy to follow :D
I would love it if you did a tutuorial on the clouds/lights or anything else!
just thought id let you know, for step 3 there is a far easier method of selecting the planet, instead of using the marquee tool (which can be pretty inaccurate). If you hold ctrl and then click on a layer it will make a selection around everything in that layer. so if you do this for your planet layer... bingo, you select the entire planet and nothing else, and its totally accurate...

very nice tutorial sphere, very interesting to see your methods, i used to use a similar way of putting the atmosphere in myself! :D

great job, looking forward to seeing more tutorials from you...

:stormtrooper:
i used o do the atmospheres that way but i do them a different way also, just showing the people the easyest way :)
